It is well known that The Republic of Croatia is a maritime-oriented country with a centuries old maritime tradition. Security of ports, ships, cargo and personnel is of paramount importance through the application of highly sophisticated technology.
Research, development and application of new technologies and knowledge are essential for the improvement and development of maritime activities. Therefore, based on the above- mentioned tradition, the aim of the journal is to invite international and domestic authors to publish articles on proposed topics, which, along with international peer-reviews, make significant scientific contributions.
Prior to being accepted for publication, each received article will be reviewed by no less than two reviewers of which at least one will be an international reviewer. The journal also encourages and invites students to submit their research papers. All received papers will also be reviewed, and the accepted ones will be published in our Student ToMS section.
Furthermore, the journal will publish short reviews from Croatian authors on significant books, articles and workshops in the fields of science covered by the journal.
