The Chair for Foreign Languages covers courses of English, Italian and German languages. Foreign language courses are delivered for students of undergraduate and graduate studies within all the Faculty Departments. The objective of the Chair is to further develop the abilities of written and oral communication in a foreign language as well as abilities of independent studying and use of professional terminology. Of vital importance are language exercise lessons aiming at developing all forms of communication in the foreign language of profession: reading, listening and understanding, speaking and writing. The Chair staff members are actively involved in the professional and scientific work participating in Croatian and international conferences and seminars. Furthermore, the Chair staff members are technical support on the scientific projects in the field of technical sciences. Also, the Chair staff members significantly contribute by translating and proof-reading of professional and scientific papers in the field of technical sciences as well as translating the Faculty documents.
