The Department is a scientific unit whose teaching staff holding research, research and teaching, teaching or associate titles investigate application and optimisation of marine engines, ship’s ancillary engines and devices. Special attention is paid to simulation methods of ship’s engine systems. Scientific investigation takes place in marine engineering simulators, on board ships and in the offices.
