The Department is involved in scientific research activity related to investigation of methods and procedures of diagnostics and maintenance of electronic devices and systems on board. Identification of models of ship’s electrical and electronic systems using simulation methods have been recognised in a number of scientific papers. Teaching activity is focused on electrical engineering, electronics and their application in shipping.
